BPW-34 - Silicon PIN Photo Diode - Miniature Solar Cell

BPW34 is a PIN photodiode with high speed and high radiant sensitivity in miniature, flat, top view, clear plastic package. It is sensitive to visible and near infrared radiation with wavelength in the range of 430nm to 1100nm. Peak sensitivity is achieved at 900nm wavelength where it's open circuit voltage is around 350mV for 1mW/cm2 light source. Several of these cells can be connected in series to provide enough voltage to power up an LED or so.
